- The community: Founders asking each other questions on Reddit (r/startupguides) and Discord.
How products are featured
- In comparisons, beside the products a founder would realistically shortlist, with prices from the vendor's own pricing page and the date they were checked.
- In guides, where a step needs a tool, for example opening a bank account or running payroll.
- Wherever possible after we have signed up and used the product, with screenshots and real costs.
- Affiliate links are marked as sponsored, and every article that has one says so before the first link.
Working with us
We join affiliate and referral programs for products we would recommend anyway. Placements, rankings and verdicts are not for sale, and companies don't review articles before they are published. What helps:
- A trial or demo account, so we can test the product before writing about it.
- A discount or extended trial we can offer readers.
- Pricing and product changes as they happen, so articles stay accurate.
